REQUIREMENTS:

VP of Membership must have smartphone that is compatible with Square point of sale app.
Compatible devices are listed on the Square website.

Use Square for credit card transactions involving payment of membership dues (new and renewal), purchase of lapel pins, and Convention items.

Use the Square app to process members’ credit card payments.

Notify (email) members for whom online member information was received but not membership dues payment.

Call members identified as having an invalid email address on file to obtain their correct current email address.

VP of Membership closes sales orders for lapel pins via logging into Delta Pioneers Online Store via the Square website.

Must be detail oriented and also be an excellent record keeper.

Create and maintain WORD documents and EXCEL spreadsheets regarding payment for membership dues and Convention items.

The VP of Membership will create and maintain a separate list for each Convention item such as meal, activity, and tour as shown in the Delta Pioneers Online Store. The VP of Membership will maintain all of the lists including each member’s name from whom an email has been received via online registration, and for which meals, activities, and tours that payment was received.

VP of Membership must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work independently and also work closely with other Board officers – in particular, the Office Manager, VP of Communications, and Convention Committee.
